Avik Sengupta

Avik Sengupta is the VP of Engineering at Julia Computing, a company that specializes in machine learning for financial research and trading. Prior to this, they were the Co-Founder and CTO of AlgoCircle, and Head of Algorithmic Solutions at Decimal Point Analytics. Avik has also worked as the Director/Practice Head at Lab49, where they were responsible for design, architecture, delivery, and account management for some of the company's largest clients and projects. In addition, they are the Co-Founder of Itellix Software Services and has served as a Senior Analyst at Webtek Software.

Avik Sengupta attended the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, where they earned their MBA in finance. Avik then went on to Carnegie Mellon University to earn their MS in computational finance.
