Chris Rackauckas

Director, Modeling & Simulation at Julia Computing

Chris Rackauckas is currently the Director of Modeling & Simulation at Julia Computing. Prior to this, they were a Senior Research Scientist at the University of Maryland Baltimore, a Postdoctoral Researcher at UC Irvine, and a Project Manager at Baidu, Inc. (Research in Industrial Projects for Students (RIPS-HK)). Chris Rackauckas received their undergraduate degree from Harvard University in 2009 and their PhD from UCLA in 2014.

Chris Rackauckas received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mathematics from UC Irvine, their Master’s Degree in Mathematics from UC Irvine, and their Bachelor's degree in Mathematics with minors in Physics, Computer Science, and Economics from Oberlin College. Chris also has research experience in High Performance Computing and Statistics from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.

Chris Rackauckas reports to Keno Fischer, Co-Founder & CTO, R&D.
