John Chia

John Chia is currently a DPO 2nd Officer on the Heavy Lift Windfarm TP Installation vessel at Jumbo Maritime. They have extensive experience in offshore operations, including anchor handling, towing, supply, ROV, and cable laying, with a background as a Deck Officer on VLCC, chemical tankers, and container vessels. John previously served as a 2nd Officer/DPO at Swire Pacific Offshore and as a 3rd Officer at OOCL. They hold a Diploma in Nautical Studies from Singapore Polytechnic and possess a Deck COC 3 certificate from the Singapore MPA.
