Rob Jacobs

Rob Jacobs has extensive experience in supply chain management, currently serving as Manager Kanaalontwikkeling and Manager Supply Chain Development & Performance at Jumbo Supermarkten since November 2008. In these roles, Rob focuses on translating the company's vision into effective supply chain strategies, managing change, and driving innovation in processes and systems. As a Product Manager, responsibilities include developing supply chain systems using both agile and traditional methodologies. Previously, Rob held positions such as Regio Manager Logistiek at Jumbo Supermarkten, overseeing logistics operations across the southern Netherlands, and Commercial & Operational Manager at De Rooy Logistics BV. Rob's earlier career involved roles in contract operations and account management at DHL and Exel Logistics. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Logistics from Tilburg University and further studies at Nyenrode Business University.
