Sharon Christensen

Sharon Christensen is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in academia and governance. As the Head of School of Law and Gadens Professor of Property Law at Queensland University of Technology since September 1991, Sharon has played a pivotal role in legal education. Additionally, Sharon serves as a Non-Executive Director at Jumbo Interactive Limited and has held a consultancy position at Gadens since May 2003. Sharon is also a Council Member of the Australian College of Strata Lawyers and previously directed the Commercial and Property Law Research Centre at QUT until July 2020. In the corporate sector, Sharon held the role of Non-Executive Director at Property Exchange Australia Ltd from November 2011 to January 2019. Sharon's legal career began at Clayton Utz from January 1988 to September 1991. Sharon holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Commercial and Property Law from QUT and has completed the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
