Lead QA Engineer at JumpCloud

Errett Allen has extensive work experience in quality assurance and testing roles. Errett started their career in 1998 at Applied Biosystems, where they tested bioinformatics software systems and developed automated test scripts. Errett then moved on to Genomica in 2000, where they worked as a software developer and QA engineer, modeling scientific and genetic objects in XML and enforcing business rules. In 2002, they joined McData as a QA engineer, leading a team in testing FICON firmware and software for storage area network switches. At StillSecure from 2006 to 2010, they were a QA engineer responsible for testing a complex network access control product and meeting quality and testing goals. From 2010 to 2013, Errett worked at Symplified, Inc. as a senior QA engineer, successfully achieving all quality and testing goals for cloud-based single sign-on and user management products. Their most recent position was as a senior QA engineer at LogRhythm from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, they joined JumpCloud as a lead QA engineer.

Errett Allen has a strong academic background in engineering and mathematics. Errett began their education at Wabash College, where they focused on mathematics from 1970 to 1974. Following this, they pursued their passion for engineering at Sierra College from 1990 to 1992, without completing a degree. Errett then transferred to the University of California, Davis, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in that field from 1992 to 1995.
