Matthew Singer

Matthew Singer serves as Managing Director and Head of Innovation Capital at BlackRock since December 2021, focusing on customized growth equity solutions for mid-to-later stage private companies in technology and healthcare sectors. Additionally, Matthew holds board observer and board member roles at multiple companies including Bright Machines, RapidSOS, HawkEye 360, Aiven, JumpCloud, Versa Networks, Deep Instinct, and Zero Mass Water. Prior experience includes leading Growth Capital Solutions at Goldman Sachs Asset Management from October 2017 to October 2021, where Matthew specialized in private debt and equity origination. Matthew earned an MBA in Finance, Accounting, and Entrepreneurship from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in International Politics and Security Studies from Georgetown University.
