Mike Thomas

Mike Thomas has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles.

Currently, they are serving as the Senior Director of Business Finance at JumpCloud since October 2022.

Previously, Mike worked at Red Hat, where they held various roles over the years. Mike started as a Senior Financial Analyst in March 2015 and eventually moved up to become a Senior Director, Global FP&A. Mike also served as the Senior Director, Global Business Finance and Director, Global Business Finance. Additionally, they held positions as Senior Manager and Manager of Global Sales Incentives and Finance Team Lead.

Before joining Red Hat, Mike worked at International Paper. Mike started as an Intern- Manufacturing Facility Cost Analysis in June 2009. In 2010, they took on a role as a Recycling Sourcing Representative and later became a Recycling Plant Operations Analyst. In their final position at International Paper, they served as a Complex Controller Trainee.

Prior to their time at International Paper, Mike gained experience as an Intern at PaperlinX, where they focused on pricing, inventory, and marketing. Mike also interned at NIR Capital Management, specializing in CDO/ABS Data Mining using SQL.

Mike Thomas has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance from the University of Richmond - Robins School of Business. Mike has also participated in a semester abroad program at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, where they studied Spanish and Business Administration.
