Sergey Lipin

Sergey Lipin has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Sergey is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at JumpCloud since January 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Principal Software Engineer at HID Global for a period of 14 years, from October 2006 to January 2021. Sergey also held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Bioscrypt from 2005 to 2006 and at Cognizance Corporation from 2003 to 2005. Sergey began their career as a Software Development Engineer at Identix Inc from 1999 to 2002. Sergey has also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Sberbank from 1995 to 1999 and as a Software Engineer at Plastpolymer from 1993 to 1995.

Sergey Lipin obtained their Masters degree in Applied Mathematics from Saint Petersburg State University, where they studied from 1989 to 1994. In 2008, they attended Diablo Valley College for Business Communications, although they did not earn a degree from there.
