At Jumpseat Research, we bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and real-world usability, ensuring that mission-critical systems are safe, effective, and optimized for human performance. From defense and military applications to industrial technology, advanced manufacturing, and complex hardware/software systems, our research delivers actionable insights that enhance operational efficiency, reduce cognitive burden, and accelerate technology adoption.

Our team of PhD-level Human Factors experts specializes in User Research, Cognitive Workload Analysis, Human Readiness Level (HRL) assessment, and Human-System Integration (HSI). We work alongside warfighters, operators, and frontline professionals to evaluate emerging technologies in real-world environments, ensuring they are intuitive, reliable, and built for success.

Like the pioneers of the Human Factors discipline who sat in JUMP SEATS alongside pilots, we embed ourselves in operational contexts to understand how technology impacts performance, decision-making, and safety. Our world-class usability labs provide data-driven validation for mission-critical systems, streamlining product development while mitigating risks associated with poor design.

At Jumpseat Research, we are pushing the boundaries of Human Factors innovation—partnering with defense organizations, government agencies, and industry leaders to create systems that work for the people who rely on them most. Whether optimizing next-gen cockpit interfaces, AI-driven automation, or autonomous robotics, we provide rigorous, evidence-based research that ensures technology serves the user, not the other way around.

Let’s talk about how Human Factors expertise can give you the operational edge. Bring your stakeholders to our labs or the field, and see firsthand how great research transforms technology.
