John Brander

John Brander has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. John is currently working as the Principal - Cloud and Modernization at JuneFirst AB since March 2023. Prior to this, they held positions at Nordcloud, an IBM Company, where they served as a Line Manager for Swedish Azure Cloud Architects and Engineers, as well as an Azure Cloud Architect involved in cloud implementation.

With June AB, John held several roles, including Chairman of the Board from June 2000 to June 2021. During their time there, they also served as the Product Owner for Cloud Solutions, overseeing the company's transition to Azure. John additionally served as the Head of Operations/Delivery Lead and Key Account Manager. As a Project Manager, John played a significant role in migrating a major client's platform to AWS Cloud.

Before their tenure at June AB, John worked as a Product Specialist at Com Hem AB in 2016 and as a Metadata Specialist and QA Team Lead at TeliaSonera from 2014 to 2016. John was also a Metadata Analyst and Advisor at TeliaSonera in 2014. Other roles in John's career include being a Board Member at Pluralis AB and a Project Manager at KåPe Communication.

John's career began as an Assistant in the Information Department at Telia Mobitel in 1995 and as a Marketing Assistant at United International Pictures (UIP) AB from 1994 to 1996.

John Brander obtained their Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 1992 to 1997. John also studied Economics at Stockholm University from 1995 to 1996. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate certification from Microsoft in May 2023, the Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate certification in August 2022, and the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification in 2020. John also obtained the Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals certification, although the specific date is not provided.
