Ben Martel has worked in a variety of roles since 2004. Ben began their career as an Account Manager at CompUSA in 2004. In 2008, they joined Apple as a Lead Creative (Trainer) and a Genius, where they managed and developed schedules and curriculum, while pushing the boundaries of apparent possibilities, and provided extraordinary customer service and support through advanced, quick and efficient Mac and Apple small device troubleshooting and repair. In 2014, they joined Simple Finance as an IT Engineer 2, where they were a JAMF Casper administrator, inventory, G Suite administrator, Mac management, AV, Amazon Web Services (AWS), conference room administrator, OS X and Linux server administrator, and computer deployment. Ben also created scripts and applications in Bash, Python, and Swift to manage Apple computers and build tools for IT. In 2017, they joined Nike as a Senior Mobile Build and Release Engineer 2, where they were responsible for Jenkins administration, Xcode development, using fastlane and other mobile CI workflows to deploy all Nike apps, and automated processes to build servers. Ben also had Munki and jamf administration experience. Most recently, in 2021, they joined June (which was acquired by Weber-Stephen Products LLC) as a Build and Release Engineer.

Ben Martel attended Oklahoma State University from 2004 to 2008, majoring in Accounting and Computer Science. Ben obtained an A+ certification from CompTIA in March 2007, an Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) certification from Apple in June 2009, and an Apple Certified Technical Coordinator (ACTC) certification from Apple in March 2010. Ben then obtained a Casper Mobile Administrator (CMA) certification from Jamf in October 2015, a Certified Casper Technician (CCT) certification from Jamf in February 2016, and a Certified Casper Administrator (CCA) certification from Jamf in March 2016. Finally, they obtained a Jamf 400 Expert certification from Jamf in April 2018, and is currently working towards a Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) certification.
