In 2017, Robert became an Independent Contractor at Samvia, where they developed Erlang applications for a pre-launch mobile telecom startup, conducted load testing with Tsung, and performed performance tuning and added proper logging and metrics emission.

Most recently, Robert worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Outpost, where they improved scalability of streaming interaction services and built a distributed actor system in Clojure using the tech stack of Clojure, Redis, AWS (DynamoDB, SQS), and Docker/Kubernetes. In 2019, June (which was acquired by Weber, Inc.) hired Robert as a Software Engineer.
