John McKell is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in various technical roles. Currently serving as Software Engineering Manager at Juniper Systems since November 2004, McKell oversees software development for ultra-rugged handheld computers designed for extreme environments. Previously, McKell worked as a Software Engineer at Iomega Corp from 1997 to 2004, where drivers for removable media hard disk drives were created. Earlier experience includes roles at Philips BTS, contributing to the design and development of a media server, and at Evans & Sutherland, where software development for flight simulators was focused on simulating environmental conditions. John McKell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Utah State University, earned in 1986.
