Lucas Sin

Lucas Sin is a prominent figure in the culinary world, serving as Co-Founder of Shyboyzclub since November 2019 and a Partner and Chef at junzi since 2015. Sin founded Y Pop-up from 2013 to 2015, leading a team of students to operate multiple pop-up restaurants, showcasing an impressive 5-9 course menu for 150 covers a night. An apprenticeship at Kikunoi Honten, a three Michelin star restaurant in Kyoto, highlighted Sin's commitment to culinary tradition, while a Culinary Research Internship at Modernist Cuisine further solidified expertise in innovative cooking techniques. Prior experience includes working as a chef at the private restaurant 煲仔 (Bo Zai), which Sin established during secondary school. Sin holds a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in Cognitive Science from Yale University, obtained in 2015.
