Hillary Scannell

Hillary Scannell, Ph.D., is a Senior Data Scientist at Jupiter Intelligence since January 2022, specializing in climate risk analytics and the enhancement of the Climate Score Global product through the application of advanced statistical methods and large climate model analysis in Python. Prior experience includes development of a global wildfire risk model at Jupiter, a Postdoctoral Research Scientist role at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory where software tools for climate anomaly prediction were developed, and research on marine heatwaves during a Graduate Researcher tenure at the University of Washington.
