Chad RICHTS has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2016, they started their career as an Information Security Consultant at MWR InfoSecurity, where they worked until 2018. During their tenure, Chad also served as an Incident Response Investigator and later as a Managing Security Consultant.
In 2019, Chad pursued an MBA at INSEAD and completed their studies in 2020. Following this, they joined Antler as an Entrepreneur from January to June 2021. Chad then co-founded cysense in November 2020, where they currently hold the position of Co-Founder.
Additionally, Chad joined JupiterOne in February 2023 as a Senior Solutions Architect, where they currently hold a position. With their diverse experience and entrepreneurial mindset, Chad has established a strong foundation in the areas of information security, consulting, and business development.
Chad Richts has an extensive education history that includes both academic degrees and various certifications. Chad obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Following that, Chad pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General at INSEAD from 2019 to 2020.
In addition to their academic achievements, Chad has acquired several certifications. In 2015, they obtained a Private Pilot License (PPL) from SACAA. In 2017, they earned certifications such as Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) from Offensive Security, GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) from GIAC Certifications, CREST Practitioner Security Analyst, and CREST Registered Penetration Tester from CREST - www.crest-approved.org. These certifications demonstrate Chad's expertise and proficiency in various security and technology-related fields.
