Jason B. Chan

Jason Chan has over two decades of experience in information security and technology leadership. Most notably, Jason served as Vice President of Information Security and Director of Engineering - Cloud Security at Netflix from April 2011 to July 2021, where responsibilities included overseeing corporate infosec, application security, security operations, and incident response. Prior roles include Director of Security at VMware, Director of Technology and Security Compliance at iSEC Partners, and Technical Manager at Symantec. Jason started their career as an Information Security Engineer at WareOnEarth Communications, Inc., following positions as a Network Administrator and IT Systems Technician. Jason holds an MS in Computer Information Systems with a concentration in Information Security from Boston University and a BS in Sociology from the College of Charleston.
