Derren Chan is currently pursuing a Juris Doctor at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC and a Bachelor of Laws at The University of Hong Kong, expected to graduate in 2025. Previously, Derren gained multifaceted legal experience as a mentee in the Hong Kong Red Cross IHL Mentorship Program and served as a summer trainee at Ince & Co. Derren has also held various editorial roles at JURIST, and worked as an undergraduate research assistant focused on Chinese anti-domestic violence legislation. In 2024, Derren will serve as a mini-pupil in two different chambers under the supervision of Mr. Jason Ko and Mr. Ping Kan Kwan.
