Damian Matkowski

Damian Matkowski has extensive work experience in finance and analysis. Damian started their career as an intern at Bankowy Fundusz Gwarancyjny in 2009. After that, they worked as a Junior and then Financial Analyst at CC Group from 2011 to 2013. Damian then joined ING Powszechne Towarzystwo Emerytalne as an Equity Analyst from 2013 to 2015. In 2015, Damian became the Owner of Herofin, a position they held until 2017. From 2015 to 2017, they also worked at Azimutus as an Associate and later as a Senior Associate. Damian then joined Connectis_ as the Chief Financial Officer from 2017 to 2021. Currently, they hold the role of Financial Director at Just Join IT starting from 2022.

Damian Matkowski's education history begins with their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Accounting and Finance, specializing in financial markets, from SGH Warsaw School of Economics, which they obtained from 2007 to 2010. Damian then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Accounting and Finance, with a specialty in international financial markets, from the same institution, which they completed from 2010 to 2013.

In 2014, Damian passed Level I of the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) exam, administered by the CFA Institute. Additionally, in 2013, they obtained an Investment Advisor license (no. 472) from the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. Prior to that, in 2010, they acquired a Securities Broker license (no. 2464) from the same authority.

Most recently, in 2021, Damian pursued postgraduate studies in Accounting & Finance, specifically ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) Postgraduate Studies, at the Warsaw University of Technology Business School.
