Chris K.

Chris K. is an IT Support Desk Specialist at Just Right. Chris previously served as a Commando Operations Room - Project Lead (Project Manager) for the Royal Marines from April 2014 to January 2022. In this role, they were responsible for line managing and leading up to 20 Marines in daily training, welfare and career progression. Chris was also heavily involved in the role-out of Littoral Strike Group North Commando Operations Room - an innovative operational framework and transformation project. As the project lead, they were responsible for delivering the output of the new Commando Operations Room and delivering key project milestones within scope. Chris also provided specific SME risk management knowledge on communication systems from "Ship to Shoreline". Chris regularly briefed the CEO, senior leaders and key stakeholders on KPIs, Milestones and obstacles to the project. Chris also developed a retrospective document to provide key learning points and areas of development for future Commando Operation room projects. Chris accounted and managed over £20M of communications equipment to facilitate the programme needs. Chris ensured the welfare and support of all their Marines during the deployment and time as the project lead. Chris also developed and delivered a comprehensive physical training and injury prevention project to help support the fast paced operational output of the organisation.
