Abigail Maynard

Abigail Maynard, DVM, currently serves as the Founding Lead DVM at Livewell Animal Hospital, which is set to open in June 2025. Concurrently, Abigail is a Veterinary Expert for JustAnswer, providing online support for veterinary inquiries, and a Licensed Veterinarian specializing in companion animals with the Minnesota Board of Animal Health, contributing to the protection of domestic animal health in the state. Prior experience includes roles as a Partner Doctor at Hometown Veterinary Partners, Medical Director at St. Paul Pet Hospital, and various positions at veterinary clinics specializing in both small and mixed animal care. Abigail holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from St. George's University and has a strong foundation in veterinary studies, further enhanced by an Associate of Science in Natural Sciences from Barbados Community College.
