Bart Koot

Bart Koot is an experienced professional with a strong background in sales management and business development. Currently serving as the Director of Sales for Just Eat Takeaway.com since November 2021, Bart has overseen the transformation of Thuisbezorgd.nl's sales organization. Prior to this role, Bart served as Regional Manager for Sales Marketplace in North West Europe, managing sales acquisition teams across seven countries. Bart's leadership experience includes being the Director of Office Channel at Wundermart, where responsibilities involved expanding into commercial real estate. As a co-founder of Wave, Bart contributed to developing electric bikes to improve urban mobility in Beirut. Earlier experience at Air France-KLM included roles such as Commercial Director Near East and Country Manager Namibia, with significant achievements in revenue management across multiple African markets. Bart holds a Master of Science in Business Studies from the University of Amsterdam and has also studied Public Administration and Political Science at Leiden University and the University of Amsterdam, respectively.
