JustGive practices a different kind of philanthropy, one that gives people in need a seat at the decision-making table. We don’t assume the donor knows best, that charity can be reduced to a mathematical formula, or that just giving people money is the answer to every problem. Instead of donors making decisions behind closed doors, we use democratic decision-making to identify causes that people in need view as valuable and impactful. Our approach not only ensures that charitable giving is tailored to what people actually need, but also gives recipients real voice in the decision-making process.
