Michelle Cern

Michelle Cern is an independent criminal justice consultant with over 20 years of experience collaborating with state and local justice system stakeholders to enhance justice systems and communities. Currently serving as Program Director at JusticePoint and an Independent Consultant, Michelle has also held key roles, including Principal Court Management Consultant at the National Center for State Courts and State Treatment Court Coordinator with the Minnesota Judicial Branch. With a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Michelle has a proven track record in implementing criminal justice system improvements and creating supportive policies at the intersection of criminal justice and behavioral health.
