Gary Rixon

Gary Rixon has a diverse work experience, beginning with their role as Scout Leader for 3rd Reading Scout Group from 2009 to 2014. During this time, they were responsible for the supervision of activities and ensuring the safety of all scouts. In 2014, they began working at Professional Access & Security Systems as a Volunteer, where they prepared cables and alarm hardware ready for final installation and connected and tested parts of the system. Gary also began working at Dogsbody Technology Ltd as a Linux Systems Engineer and an Apprentice Linux Systems Engineer, where they built, monitored and maintained various Linux servers and systems, and offered technical advice and guidance. In 2019, they began working at JustPark as a Platform Engineer.

Gary Rixon attended Highdown School And Sixth Form Centre from 2007 to 2014, studying Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services. Gary also holds certifications from Amazon Web Services as an AWS Technical Professional and AWS Business Professional, obtained in August 2016 and July 2016 respectively. Additionally, they hold a LFCS: Linux Foundation Certified Systems Administrator certification from The Linux Foundation, obtained in March 2017.
