Phil Hanson has extensive experience in emergency management and crisis information systems. Phil is currently serving as the Co-Managing Director and Chief Client Officer for Juvare Asia Pacific, overseeing the implementation of incident and information management systems. Prior to this, Phil worked as the General Manager of Emergency Management and Crisis Information at Critchlow Ltd, where they led crisis and emergency management processes and systems in government and commercial environments. Phil also served as the Practice Leader of Emergency Management Solutions at Critchlow Ltd, providing support and advice in incident command systems and emergency operations center design. Before joining Critchlow Ltd, Phil held roles in the Northern Territory Police as the Superintendent of the Emergency Operations Division, overseeing specialist response services for emergencies in the Northern Territory, and in the Western Australia Police as a Senior Sergeant in Crisis Information Management and as the Officer In Charge of the Counter Terrorism Coordination Unit. In these roles, they were responsible for the development and support of crisis information systems and the coordination of tactical and strategic exercises.
Phil Hanson's education history begins with an Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design, which they pursued from 1982 to 1985 at TAFE. Following this, they enrolled in TAFE again to study Business Management, completing their studies in 2007. Lastly, Phil Hanson pursued education in Public Safety - Emergency Management at TAFE until 2008.
