Annabel Mungan

Annabel Mungan, EIT, is an Environmental Design Engineer at JVA, Inc. since September 2023. Prior to this role, Mungan was an NSF Graduate Research Fellow at the University of Colorado Boulder, focused on improving ion exchange resin sorption capacity for chromium removal from groundwater. Mungan served as the Head Teaching Assistant for General Chemistry for Engineers, overseeing problem sets and student interactions. Previous experience includes internships with the National Park Service, Jacobs, and Geosyntec Consultants, where design, engineering, and fieldwork were key responsibilities. Mungan's research involvement spans various projects at The Johns Hopkins University and North Carolina State University related to analytical methods for water contaminants. Mungan holds a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.
