James MacAlpine

James MacAlpine is currently the Director of Recreation at JW Marriott, a position they have held since 2018. Prior to this role, James served in various capacities at Schlitterbahn Waterparks & Resorts, including Director of Marketing and Sales, Operations Manager, Group Sales Representative, and Sales Manager from 2014 to 2018. They gained early experience as a Sales Associate at Pier 1 Imports and worked at Six Flags in special facilities from 2004 to 2005. James holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Management and Operations from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Business Administration and Management from San Jacinto College.
