Nancy Dooley

Professor and Program Director Occupational Therapy Doctorate Program

Nancy Dooley, PhD, OTR/L, CDP, FAOTA, is a Professor and Program Director of the Occupational Therapy Doctorate Program at Johnson & Wales University, where they began their role in 2023 after serving as Associate Professor and Program Director since 2019. An experienced occupational therapist and educator, Nancy has developed and led occupational therapy programs while advocating for the profession, particularly in mental health, dementia, and Alzheimer's care, as well as supporting caregivers. Nancy is currently pursuing a Master of Arts and a Doctor of Philosophy in Occupational Therapy at New York University, having previously earned a Bachelor’s degree in the same field from Quinnipiac University.
