Tim O'Connor

Tim O’Connor, PE, LEED AP, is the Director of Environmental Health and Safety at Johnson & Wales University, where they oversee compliance with environmental health and safety regulations for a university community of over 16,000 individuals across four campuses. With over thirty years of experience, they previously spent a decade at the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management, managing hazardous materials and petroleum site cleanup programs. As an environmental consultant, Tim focused on complex oil and hazardous materials issues and contributed to significant environmental cleanups and litigation cases. Tim holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Rhode Island and is a registered Professional Engineer in multiple states.
