K Squared Construction | Luxury Residential Design-Build | Greater Sacramento
For 20 years, we've specialized in complex remodels, additions, ADUs and custom homes throughout Greater Sacramento - the kind of projects where traditional contracting consistently fails.
Why we're different:
Most contractors compete on price. We compete on process, transparency, and results.
We use a thorough Pre-Construction process - investment in thorough planning before construction begins. No "free estimates" followed by change orders and surprises. Instead, a collaborative discovery process establishing realistic budgets and detailed plans before anyone commits.
We work alongside architects as partners in builder-led collaboration. No adversarial dynamics or value engineering that undermines design. Just honest partnership bringing vision to life within realistic parameters.
Our three-layer quality control and systematic processes ensure institutional-level oversight on every project.
Who we serve:
Affluent professionals in Sacramento suburbs who value experience and stress reduction over lowest bid. Clients who understand quality is baseline expectation, not premium feature, and invest in proper planning to avoid construction horror stories.
Architects throughout Northern California seeking builders who genuinely collaborate rather than compete.
Our philosophy:
We're educators first, contractors second. The construction industry's reputation suffers because most contractors prioritize winning jobs over setting realistic expectations. We disrupt norms like "free estimates" and the "three-bid rule" because they create dysfunction, not value.
If you're an architect seeking genuine collaboration, or planning a significant remodel and want transparency over sales tactics, let's connect.
