Davis McClellan began their work experience in 2009 as a Technical Support employee for Boothbay Register, where they provided training and assistance with the Adobe Suite and newspaper pagination. In 2012, they worked as an Assistant Systems Engineer at Bigelow Lab. In 2013, they joined BYU-Idaho, starting as a System Administrator and later transitioning into a Student Software Engineer role. Their responsibilities at BYU-Idaho included designing and implementing software, creating software engineering processes, and performing software maintenance. In 2015, they became a Software Engineer at Instructure, a position they held until 2020. Davis is currently employed as a Lead Distributed Systems Engineer at K16 Solutions, beginning in 2020.
