Michael Yang

Michael Yang has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Michael is currently the Director of Product at K1X, a position they have held since November 2022. Prior to this, Michael worked at Crowe, where they held multiple roles. Michael started as a QA Analyst in June 2015 and transitioned to Product Owner in August 2015. From August 2016 to November 2022, Michael served as a Product Manager at Crowe. Before joining Crowe, they worked at Purdue University as a Junior Lab Assistant from January 2012 to 2013 and as a Senior Lab Assistant from 2013 to May 2015. Michael also gained industry experience as an IT Intern at Ford Motor Company from May 2013 to August 2013.

Michael Yang received a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Network and Information Technology from Purdue University, where they studied from 2010 to 2015. During the same period, they also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Purdue University. In terms of additional certifications, in August 2015, they attained the Certified Tester, Foundation Level (CTFL) qualification from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board. In July 2018, Michael achieved the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from Scrum Alliance. Additionally, they obtained the PMC Level I certification from Pragmatic Institute in July 2022 and the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Purdue University in April 2023.
