Michael Preston

Michael Preston has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Michael is currently working as an Electrical Engineer at K2 Management, starting in November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Nordex Group from 2008 to 2021, where they held the positions of Team Lead from April 2018 to November 2021, and Electrical, SCADA Engineer from June 2008 to 2019. Before joining Nordex Group, they worked as a Technical Support Engineer at DEIF A/S from 2005 to 2008. Michael's career started at MAN B&W UK ltd in 1995, where they worked as a Control & Instrumentation Engineer until June 2005.

Michael Preston attended The Manchester Metropolitan University from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a degree in mechatronics with a focus on automation. Michael also holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in mechatronics, robotics, and automation engineering from the same university. In addition to their formal education, Michael obtained a certification in "Engineer to Manager - Unit 2: The Purpose of Management" from the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) in July 2021.
