Peter Malaxos has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Peter is currently employed at K2fly as the Head of Customer Success, where they are responsible for driving customer satisfaction and ensuring the success of clients by developing and implementing customer success initiatives.

Prior to their current role, Peter worked at IBM as an Associate Partner, Delivery Executive, and Complex Program Manager. Peter was involved in managing complex programs and delivering solutions for clients. Peter worked at IBM from 2013 to 2023.

Before joining IBM, Peter worked at BHP Billiton as a Program Manager from 2012 to 2013. Peter was responsible for managing programs during their tenure.

Peter also has experience working at DXC Technology (formerly CSC) as a Project Director from 2007 to 2011. Peter was responsible for overseeing projects during this time.

Prior to that, Peter worked at Western Power as a Senior Project Manager from 2005 to 2007. Peter played various roles, including managing projects related to the Disaggregation MIMS Ellipse/Data warehouse and Corporate Performance Business Intelligence Reporting.

Peter also worked at Honeywell Process Solutions as a Senior Project Manager from 2002 to 2005. Peter was involved in project management during their tenure.

Earlier in their career, Peter worked at Vix Technology (formerly ERG Transit Systems) as a Senior Project Manager. Peter managed the GMPTE Project, a public transport ticketing system implementation across bus fleets in Manchester, UK. This project involved managing over 200 buses, 40 bus depots, over 600,000 contactless smart cards, and a back office clearing house.

Peter also worked at Fluor as a Lead Instrument/Electrical Engineer from 1996 to 1999, and at Hatch (formerly Kaiser Engineers) in various Instrument Engineering roles from 1987 to 1996.

Their career began at Rio Tinto (formerly Hamersley Iron) as a Graduate Electrical Engineer from 1984 to 1987.

Peter Malaxos obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Field of Study from The University of Western Australia from 1980 to 1983. Peter then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Information Systems from Edith Cowan University from 1996 to 2002. Later, they completed a Doctor of Business Administration (Coursework) degree in Information Systems from the same university from 2003 to 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Peter Malaxos has obtained several certifications throughout their career. Peter obtained the IBM Thought Leader Project Manager certification from IBM in August 2022. In June 2021, they obtained the Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft, and in May 2021, they obtained various digital badges from IBM. Prior to that, in February 2012, they obtained the PMP certification from the Project Management Institute. In January 2012, they received the MIEAust certification from Engineers Australia.
