Rafa M.

Rafa M. has a diverse range of work experience in the field of software engineering and development. In 2008, they started their career as an IT intern at AGRAEX, where they installed and administered IT infrastructure for the company. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as a Junior Software Engineer at Geomobile, specializing in web development, cloud computing, and integration of webservices with mobile apps. Rafa was responsible for the complete software development cycle and provided technical support to clients. In 2012, they worked as a Web Developer at Deseo, building a shoes and bags webshop using technologies like CSS, PHP, and MySQL. From 2013 to 2017, Rafa worked as a Software Engineer and later as a Team & Tech Lead at Delivery Hero Holding, focusing on backend development and hardware communication for various platforms. Rafa also took on leadership responsibilities and acted as a point of contact for technical support. In 2016, they founded Launch Control, where they managed and acted as a software architect for a second-hand marketplace for high-end and luxury cars. Rafa tackled challenges related to marketing, community management, sales, and human resources management. In 2016, they also became a Junior Devops Engineer at Delivery Hero Germany GmbH, and in 2017, they joined Humanitec as a Senior Backend Engineer. At Humanitec, they significantly increased test coverage and collaborated on the migration from a monolithic app to microservices. In 2019, they joined rindus as a Senior Backend Engineer, where they contributed to the development and implementation of Ströer product-selling software, handled integrations with third-party systems, and re-architected the application to handle a larger volume of products. Currently, Rafa holds the position of Senior Backend Engineer at Load Impact, where they utilize their expertise in backend development.

Rafa M. completed their education at Universidad de Jaén. From 2004 to 2009, they pursued a Technical Engineering degree in Computer Managements, with a focus on Computer Engineering, IT, Mathematics, and Business Administration. After completing their undergraduate studies, Rafa M. continued their academic journey at the same university. From 2009 to 2010, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Engineering, specializing in IT, Data Analysis and Management, Computer Engineering, and Automatic Control.
