Matthew Nicholson

Matthew Nicholson is a Senior Mining Engineer at K92 Mining Inc., where they apply their extensive knowledge in geotechnical engineering and rock mechanics. They previously completed underground time with Northern Star Resources Limited, where they gained hands-on experience in ground support and rock drilling. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil and Infrastructure) with First Class Honours from RMIT University and has also earned a Graduate Diploma in Mining and Mineral Engineering from UNSW. Their commitment to safety was demonstrated through their role as a Site Safety and OH&S Assistant, and they have developed strong leadership and communication skills through various roles, including as a Zone leader at the Melbourne Cup Carnival.
