Tom Paton

Tom Paton is a seasoned mining professional, currently serving as the General Manager at K92 Mining Inc. since 2025. They previously held various engineering roles at Barrick Gold Corporation from 2007 to 2011 and later at Newcrest Mining, where they worked as a Senior Production Engineer from 2015 to 2017. Tom also managed underground operations at the Porgera Joint Venture from 2017 to 2020 and held general manager positions at Mincor Resources NL and Wyloo, as well as a mining manager role at AngloGold Ashanti. They earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Tasmania and a Graduate Diploma in Mining from Curtin University of Technology.
