Daniel Cole has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Daniel started their career as an Assistant Store Manager at I.G.A., where they managed multiple departments and coordinated tasks. At Arcana Studios, they worked as an iOS Application/Game Designer, creating interactive children's books. Daniel then joined d9 Studios as a Quality Assurance Manager & Game/Level Designer, where they worked on an indie game called "AVOID." Daniel also gained experience in the gaming industry at Roadhouse Interactive as a Game Designer and later as a Lead Dev Support and QA. Daniel continued their career at Electronic Arts as a Quality Assurance Analyst for the Kinect/Move Team. Daniel then joined Hothead Games as a Game Designer and Live Operations Specialist. Currently, they are working at Kabam, where they have held the roles of Live Operations Designer and Senior Live Ops Specialist. Daniel has also volunteered at various conferences, including the Vancouver ACM SIGGRAPH and Canadian Games Conference.
Daniel Cole obtained their diploma in Game Art and Design from the Art Institute of Vancouver from 2009 to 2011. Additionally, in June 2019, they obtained a certification titled "Learning Data Science: Ask Great Questions" from Lynda.com.
