Jon Schmid

Jon Schmid has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Jon is currently working at Kabam as the Lead Economy Designer, a position they have held since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Economy Designer at Kabam from October 2021 to November 2022.

Before joining Kabam, Jon was the Founder and Associate at Pacific Northwest Strategy Inc., starting from January 2019. Jon also served as an Advisory Board Member at The Gaming Stadium starting from May 2019.

In addition, Jon had experience as a District Manager at H&R Block from 2007 to 2008, gaining knowledge in marketing, retail, and logistics. Jon previously worked as a Business and Negotiations Consultant at Sapphire Consulting from 2004 to 2007, specializing in representing online stakeholders in negotiations.

Jon's earliest role was as a Merchant at eBay from 2001 to 2003, where they sold virtual property in video games. Throughout their career, Jon has demonstrated adaptability and a diverse skill set across various industries.

Jon Schmid earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Regina, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Jon later pursued a Master's degree in Dispute Resolution at the University of Victoria from 2010 to 2013. Additionally, they acquired several certifications, including Experience LINX from the Provincial Health Services Authority in October 2017. Jon also obtained certifications in Flawless Consulting and Prosci Change Management from Designed Learning and Prosci, respectively, although the specific dates of attainment are unknown.
