James Siegal is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in nonprofit leadership and legal practice. Since 2012, James has held multiple senior roles at KABOOM!, including Senior Fellow, CEO, President, and Executive Vice President & COO. Prior to this, James served as Chief of Staff at the Corporation for National and Community Service from 2010 to 2012 and as Vice President for Nonprofit Sector Programs and Practice at Independent Sector from 2006 to 2010. James began a legal career at the NYS Attorney General's Charities Bureau from 1999 to 2006, where responsibilities included Registration Section Chief and Assistant Attorney General, and worked as an Associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP from 1997 to 1999. James holds a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School and an AB from Princeton University.
