Thamer Alrefay is a dedicated researcher with a Ph.D. in Space Physics from the University of New Brunswick. Currently, Thamer studies the Earth’s bow shock and its interaction with solar wind as a Senior Researcher at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology and serves as a Scientific Consultant for The Royal Commission for AlUla. Thamer has previously held roles as an Assistant Professor and an Assistant Scientific Researcher at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology. Thamer also holds a Master of Science in Space Science from the Florida Institute of Technology and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Astrophysics at King AbdulAziz University.
