Fred Westerhout

Fred Westerhout has held various leadership positions throughout their career. Fred currently serves as the Vice President of Kadant, overseeing the company's Flow Control operations globally. Prior to this role, they were the Vice President of Kadant Process Solutions Group Europe, where they focused on expanding the company's European operations in the paper industry. Fred also has experience as the Managing Director of Kadant Johnson Europe BV and as the Finance and IT Director. Before joining Kadant, they worked as the Manager of Finance & Operations at Roveco, a sports goods trading company, and as a Consultant at PwC.

Fred Westerhout attended Coornhert Gymnasium from 1976 to 1984. Fred then went on to pursue their Drs. degree in Economics and IT at Erasmus University Rotterdam from 1984 to 1990. Fred continued their education at Erasmus University Rotterdam, where they obtained a Post Doctoraal EDP auditing degree from 1991 to 1993.
