Steven Mekking

Steven Mekking is a seasoned professional with a robust background in strategy and policy consulting, primarily within governmental and public organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant for Strategy and Policy at Kadaster since September 1996, Steven advises on the implications of digitization and data-driven policymaking. Previous roles include consulting for Kadaster International, where Steven guided the National Agency for Land and Property in Benin on digital cadastre development, and serving as an ICT Security Manager at the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. Additional experience encompasses advising on the Digital Environment and Infrastructure laws, leading governance projects, and shaping strategic initiatives at Geonovum, as well as working as an IT Auditor at PinkRoccade. Educational qualifications include studies at Erasmus University Rotterdam and specialized training in information management at the IMAC Government Academy.
