Tom Wortel

Tom Wortel is a Data Asset Manager at Kadaster, responsible for the quality of geodetic data since 2019. Prior to this, Tom held positions in various roles including Business Architect and Tactical Information Management Advisor at Kadaster, and served as a GIS & ICT Consultant at Grontmij from 2009 to 2013. From 2013 to 2019, Tom worked as a BIM Manager and GIS/Geomatics Specialist at Boskalis, focusing on streamlining survey processes. Tom also completed an internship in Remote Sensing at Rijkswaterstaat in 2005, where a remote sensing algorithm was developed to detect pollution in the North Sea. Tom earned a degree in Geodetic Engineering from Delft University of Technology, graduating in 2009.
