Karen Abrams

Karen Abrams has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Karen started their career as a Senior Software Engineer at Data General in 1986, where they worked until 1990. Karen then joined Nortel and held the position of Senior Software Engineer from 1990 to 2001. In 1998, Karen became the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Dignus, LLC, managing various aspects of the business until 2005. Following this, they worked as a Bookkeeper at Tritest, Inc. from 2005 until 2008, using QuickBooks to handle the financials of the company. Karen's most recent position was as a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Kadro Solutions, where they played a crucial role in testing responsive design and mobile apps for e-commerce, food safety, video training, and trucking. Karen utilized tools such as intuition, Mabl, Selenium, and JRun test cases.

Karen Abrams completed their high school education from William Fremd High School from 1978 to 1982. After that, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree from Vanderbilt University, specializing in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Mathematics, from 1982 to 1986. Additionally, Karen has obtained several certifications throughout their career, including "Nutrition, Health, and Lifestyle: Issues and Insights" from Coursera in March 2013, "Adobe Certified Expert - Magento Commerce Business Practitioner - for Magento 2" from Magento, an Adobe Company in January 2019, and "Adobe Certified Expert - Magento Certified Solution Specialist - for Magento 1" from Adobe Commerce in May 2016.
