Maija Knutar

Maija Knutar is an experienced procurement manager currently leading the Purchase department at KAEFER since January 2022, with a strong background in purchase management, project coordination, and design consulting within the shipbuilding and design industries. Prior roles at KAEFER include Purchase Coordinator and Purchaser, while previous experience includes leading projects as a Technical Team Leader Interior at Meyer Turku and as a Project Manager at both NIT Naval Interior Team and Allstars Engineering Group. As an independent entrepreneur since 2007, Maija has provided design and consulting services, further complemented by a role as Design Coordinator at Helsinki Shipyard Oy. Maija holds a Master of Arts and Culture in Interior Architecture from Lahti University of Applied Sciences and completed additional studies in interior architecture at Istanbul Technical University and Goldsmiths, University of London.
