Alaa Kamel is a seasoned hospitality professional with 28 years of international experience, including 15 years in multi-unit management as a Cluster General Manager overseeing numerous flagship properties. Currently serving as the Hospitality Asset Management Senior Director at KAFD, Alaa has successfully managed the pre-opening of the largest Novotel Hotel in the world and developed strong stakeholder relationships. Alaa's previous roles include Director of Sales & Marketing at Starwood Hotels and Cluster General Manager at Accor and Millennium Hotels and Resorts, demonstrating a commitment to operational excellence and guest satisfaction. Alaa holds multiple advanced degrees, including an MBA in International Hospitality & Service Industries Management from Glion Institute and various master's certifications from Cornell University.
