Kafila Foundation is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) based in Kupwara, Kashmir.The word Kafila,derived from Urdu & Persian, means "Caravan" or "Group of People," symbolizing a collective effort towards a common goal based on the principle of Unity in Diversity.In today's world full of challenges, Kafila Foundation is committed to addressing these challenges in a smarter, more effective & efficient manner. The foundation was initiated under the guidance of like-minded, well-experienced,dedicated youth from society. Timely interventions such as educating one generation or providing sustainable livelihoods can help families break the cycle of generational poverty.Founded by Mr. Ishfaq Ahmad Bhat, Kafila Foundation is an Educational organization dedicated to promoting peace,harmony & stability across the state & the country. It aims to render its services in various sectors, including education, health, sports, industries, tourism, environment & economic development. The foundation's team is highly dedicated & takes pride in its ability to tackle national challenges with competence & commitment.
With education as its core mission, the organization works at the grassroots level to ensure that books & pens reach the hands of those who dream of an enlightened future but lack the means. Recognizing the prevalent issues in different regions, responsible citizens from various places have joined hands to work collectively. Through meaningful initiatives, the foundation aspires to bring peace, stability, harmony & development to troubled areas affected by turmoil & hardship.The foundation firmly believes that these activities can help alleviate the suffering of people by fostering economic & social stability.
